Bidding isn't the only way we can help - donations can be made here:

http://www.emmahoolin.co.uk/

(every bit helps).

lw, maybe you could put the link to the auction and the donation page on theverveonline.com?

This is such a wonderful cause..what a great idea to do this. Reading about that little girl really tugs at your heart. I can't think of a better cause to donate to then for a child in need.

Awhh, this is so sad. Cancer or serious illness of any type is a horrible thing no matter who it afflicts, but for a child that young to experience something like that, it's just heartbreaking to even hear about. It's terrible how our bodies can betray us.
But this is so sweet of Simon, Peter and Jeff and that picture made me smile so much. The winning bid was £855.00. Not bad but I thought it would have gone for more. I wish I could have afforded to bid more than that (and you know... fly to England  ), but I donated some money to the appeal anyway. I hope they raise enough money for the treatment and that everything goes well for Emma and all those around her.
