I took part in the maidstone Race 4 Life (cancer) last sunday.

It was my 3rd yr taking part & as always was a very emotional experience. :angel10:

4000 women running/jogging, doing their bit to help raise vital funds to help find cures for cancer. :salute:

I even got on the telly  national news  Thankfully I didn't see it  I looked like a drowned rat having stood in the rain for over a hour.

Anyone else taking part in any of the races this year?

(I got your sponsor money this morning Elaine. Many thanks  & thanks alot for sorting out my Av & ASFTL banner :-D )

Thanks forum friends

My time was 38 mins this year (slow, I know, as I hadn't done any training) & the course is through woodlands so a bit uneven, plus I had to run with my bag with camera, banana, water bottle, & jacket as Hubby was trying to park the car , which meant he missed the start of the race & I couldn't find anyone else to dump my gear with. Otherwise i'd have completed in race in about 30mins :-::

The London Marathon.. good on your brother for running Prophet. Great time too.
