this campaign was set up by a friend of mine, and i think it's an all good thing.
so if you can spare a penny, or help by spreading the word - that would be great!
thanks x

here's the message:

-------
"I have got involved with an upcoming group, The Lost Boys, who recently featured on BBC 6music, who have kindly agreed to releasing a charity song to raise money for Lupus research, as part of a campaign to get Xmas songs back in the charts by writing and recording a brand new one of their own.

That campaign starts today. If you have a Facebook account please click on the link below and click the ‘like’ icon, and better still, spread the word on your profile by clicking the 'share' button. If you don’t have a Facebook account but have friends & relations who do, please pass on the link to them.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Bring-back-proper-Xmas-Songs-The-Lost-Boys/120851977979662

You can hear The Lost Boys Xmas single here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2zd66F9FRA

It is due for download release on the 13th Dec on ITunes and hopefully Amazon. It will cost in the region of 79p with all the proceeds going to the registered Lupus research charity Lupus UK. It would be absolutely brilliant if you could download it and spread the word for others to do the same.

If you don’t want to do that and don’t have a facebook account but would still like the opportunity to contribute, here’s a JustGiving page:
http://www.justgiving.com/Gary-Diz-Walters

Thanks,
Diz"

i'll try and find the correct link (also the links for download, which starts tomorrow).
in the meantime, i have "shared" their page on my fabook page, so you should be able to find them that way.

edit: it was my fault, i just copied the message without making sure i copy the complete link ](*,)
changed it - the link should work now!

you don't have to LIKE the song, Paul (though I think it's not too bad), just buy the download to support LupusUK...

Must admit I find the song irritating but I'll buy it of course! It's a small amount for a good cause.... :smile2:

does it matter what site it is downloaded from, or does money go to charity regardless?
